Marin Soljačić Lab
Josué López is an engineer and entrepreneur with a decade of experience developing next-generation imaging and sensing technologies. He has conducted research as part of world-class teams at MIT, Caltech, Northwestern, and Rice University. Josué is currently a PhD vandidate in the Photonics and Modern Electro-Magnetics Group at MIT, where he works with Professor Marin Soljačić. He received his BS with Distinction in Research from Rice University in 2014, and his MS degree from MIT in 2017. The work of his team on commercializing lidar on a chip technology was recently highlighted in IEEE Spectrum.
