With Professor Joel Voldman

Dr. Dohyun Lee is a postdoctoral research associate at the Research Laboratory of Electronics at MIT (with Professor Joel Voldman as advisor), and a research collaborator of Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School (with Professor Bruce Levy). He received his BS, MS, and PhD in biology and brain engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology) in 2008, 2009, and 2014, respectively. His thesis was focused on microdroplet-based screening of freshwater green algae under the direction of Professor Je-Kyun Park. He also worked as a postdoctoral research associate in biomedical engineering at the University of California at Irvine, under the direction of Professor Abraham P. Lee, who has developed novel nano/microdevices for single-cell biology, clinical diagnostics, and environmental science. Dohyun has authored and co-authored more than 50 peer-reviewed journal articles and conference abstracts, one review article, and eight patents issued and pending in the area of optoelectrofluidics and microelectronic devices.
